Hannah GonzalezAssistant Director of Bands
This is Hannah Gonzalez's first year as the Assistant Director of Bands at Western Hills High School. Her duties include teaching and conducting the Symphonic Band, assisting with the Wind Symphony and the Cougar Marching Band, and assisting with the Leonard Middle School band classes. Ms. Gonzalez received her Bachelor of Music Education and Teaching Certificate from West Texas A&M University. While at WT, she played flute and piccolo for the Symphonic Band, flute choir, participated in the West Texas A&M Marching Band, and was a member of Tau Beta Sigma and Mu Phi Epsilon.
Prior to coming to Western Hills, Ms.Gonzalez student taught in Amarillo at Amarillo High School and its feeder middle schools. Away from teaching, Ms. Gonzalez enjoys running, reading books, crocheting, and discovering places to eat.. She currently resides in Fort Worth with her two dogs, Opie and Otis. |
